Kristin Cavallari has reportedly fired her social media manager after an insensitive 9/11 post caused outrage against the reality TV star.
The Hills alum’s personal Instagram account posted a picture of her in New York City on the anniversary of 9/11. She is dressed to kill standing on the city streets in a mini skirt and blazer with a plunging neckline. It was her caption that had people furious with Cavallari.
“NYC for 24hrs. And what a time to be here always remember,” was the caption for the picture.
It didn’t take long for the backlash to erupt. People were outraged the Uncommon James founder posted such a sexy picture with a caption regarding 9/11.

Cavallari came under fire for using a picture of herself to the World Trade Center attacks. Wednesday marked 18-years since the horrific terrorist attacks.

Page Six is reporting the photo was intended to promote her new collaboration with Daltile. It was a previously agreed upon Instagram post that was not supposed to reference the tragedy of 9/11.
However, on Wednesday morning while Cavallari was in a fitting one of her staff members chose to modify the caption honoring the day. Page Six further states the reality TV fired the unnamed staff member for the insensitive remark.
